At Home On the Range: Golf Lessons Series
I am a big fan of the late, great Mr. Harvey Penick. He did not believe that there was one swing out there for everyone to emulate. The key to your greatest golf is to take your strengths and use them to your advantage while minimizing your weaknesses and the impact they have on your score.
Ben Crenshaw is arguably the best putter in the world with an amazing short game. However, his is not a great driver of the ball. Both of his wins at Augusta National were won by maximizing his strengths and mineralizing his weaknesses.
I have put together a spreadsheet that will track all aspects of your game. You will be able to see where you need improvement and where you are strong. If you would like a copy, just sign up for About Junior Golf and send me an email at: info@aboutjuniorgolf.com and I will forward a copy to you. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments that you may have and I will address them here for you and others.
Now go make some birdies!
